JAWBONE DELIVERS AS HEADSET THAT MINIMIZES NOISE BACKGROUND NOISE

I just purchased a new Jawbone Bluetooth headset. The most compelling part of the sales pitch is its unique ability to reduce ambient background noise. Sounded good. I read that the Geek Squad had issued these to their on the road support staff, so thought I'd give it a try. As soon as I powered it up I put it to the ultimate test - take a drive with three children and see if the other person can tell you're not alone! And the Jawbone actually did manage to minimize the background noise that after about 5 minutes of conversation with kids simultaneously chirping away in the background, I asked the party on the other line if they could hear any of it. They had no idea I was driving around with the kids - nice little piece of gear. Retails for $129, but if you purchase from a carrier while upgrading, you can get a significant discount and add it for about $90 (this was my experience with a Verizon store)... |
