01234 Great Durable Phone, Thursday, November 13, 2008 - 11:43

I've owned this phone for about a week now and I love this phone. I've owned everything from a Razr to and Instinct and this is my favorite by far!
I've been a Nokia user before and Nokia cell phones seem to depreciate in short time. So I switched to Sony Ericsson and I never had regrets. But I'm still keeping my old phone because of memories. I used the Sony Ericsson TM506 for a month now and I LOVE it. It's lightweight but solid and has a great shape and feel in my hand.

PROS:
- Ringers are clear and loud.
- Bright screen
- Great music player.
- Pleasing rubber coating
- User interface is beautiful and bright
- 2 MP camera is clear and detailed. Love it!
- Customizable main menu.
- Recovers service very fast after loosing service. My Razr took a good 3 minutes to recover service after leaving work, this phone takes about 30 seconds.
- 3G is very fast
- Durable and solid
- Bluetooth works great

CONS:
- Ear piece is okay.
- No miniUSB
- Doesn't support SanDisc memory cards.
- No flash.

Overall, the Sony Ericsson TM506 is a great phone. It is definitely worth the upgrade!

I owned the Sony Ericsson TM506 I got from T-Mobile. It's lightweight but solid and has an elegant business look and feels great in my hand. Also, it has a great service.

Pros:
Low cost
Great signal / reception
Screen is beautiful and bright.
Good camera.
Great music player. It sounds amazing.
Opera Mini works great.
You can set mp3 as ringtones.
Bluetooth capability.
3G is very fast.
Durable phone.

Cons:
Battery life is okay. If you turn screen brightness down and turn gps off it helps.
No flash on the camera.
No miniUSB.

Overall I would say that this is a great phone for an affordable phone. I'm very happy with it. I will definitely recommend it to everyone.

01234 Counting the days!, Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 19:43

I so want the Sony Ericsson TM506. First of all, it looks fantastic. Now that T-Mobile offers 3G in my area, the TM506 is a no brainer for me. I can’t wait for September 3rd!

01234 Only 2mp, Tuesday, August 26, 2008 - 19:45

The Sony Ericsson TM5606 phone looks awesome, except I want a phone with more than a 2 megapixel camera. Still I really like the flip phone design and style, so I still might go for it. It’s about time T-Mobile offered a Sony Ericsson phone!

01234 Great sound and call quality!, Tuesday, October 28, 2008 - 07:45

The standard flip style design is indeed attractive. Great size! The front of the mobile phone has a decent display that shows ringer status, ringer status, time, and battery level. Above the screen is the 2 Mega Pixel camera that takes good quality pictures for sharing to friends and family, emailing or posting to my blogs. Also, the pictures seemed to give a decent amount of detail. The sound quality of the phone was very good. I love this phone so much because the sound clarity of the calls is important to me. Also, on the other end of the phone, everybody says it sounds loud and clear. Incoming ringers are loud enough even if I?m in a noisy mall. I like the options and customizations for the visual appearance and some features. Speakers for music are load and clear.
The software or features of a typical Sony Ericsson OS is easy to navigate and learn Together with the standards, there is a media player to access your pictures, games, music, videos, and even web feeds. RSS readers have been in Smartphone OS?s for quite some time, but this one impressed me. It was easy to setup, and fast to scroll through. I use Google Reader for all my feeds, but someone who wants to get their news on the go will be able to organize this to their favorites.
The GPS using TeleNav?s system works like a charm. The data downloads quickly, making your maps loading as they should. Under the Entertainment section, there are ?DJ? services for your videos, music and photos that enable you to edit your media.
Using the phone?s web browser was a bit difficult because of the lack of a QWERTY keyboard.
Overall, great phone! The first HSDPA enabled phone with GPS, Stereo Bluetooth and a 2MP camera.

01234 Awesome phone., Thursday, October 30, 2008 - 09:29

Sony Ericsson TM506 in Amber is my first Sony Ericsson phone and I must to say it’s the best. It’s lightweight but sturdy and has a great feel in my hand. I got this phone in Amber and I love the color - very classy and professional. PROS: Great reception, I live in an area where I don’t get the most excellent service. I went to this phone from a Nokia n70 and it gets a better signal. The screen display is very pleasing and bright. Camera is good. It takes decent pictures. Music player is good. I can use Opera mini for internet connectivity. It?s quite fast in my location. I can set mp3’s as ring tones providing you have song sent to you over Bluetooth or songs transferred from pc to phone. I think I have no cons except for the battery. Well, it is not as bad, it can stay 2 or 3 days with moderate use. If you lessen the screen brightness and turn GPS off, it helps. Over all it’s a good phone. I would absolutely recommend it to everyone.

01234 Great sound! Great phone!, Monday, November 17, 2008 - 11:45

I love the Sony Ericsson TM506 because it is solid; excellent battery life; great reception; and clear and loud sound quality which are all important to me. Incoming ringers are loud which I need since I work on a loud and crowded place. Speaker phone for music are load and clear too. Good-sized and feels sturdy in hand.

Pros:
Call quality is very clear and loud
Screen is bright and sharp
Battery life is excellent
Excellent reception
Incoming calls are nice and loud.
Nice looking interior display.

Cons:
A bit large
Small delay when opening phone for screen to light up
A bit slow navigating menus and texting
No FM radio

The cons don't matter at all since I just needed a phone that sounded clear and has good reception. Overall, the Sony Ericsson TM50 is a functional and solid phone.

The user interface is neat and fast. The screen is stunning and sharp. The pictures look great even though the camera lacks a flash. The sound from the speaker is fairly loud and clear. The signal or reception is great in my area (California). The call quality is very good. Texting is a breeze on this phone, the key pad is flat, but has pleasing feel to it, and you can text fast.

Nice looking User Interface
Easy to text keypads
GPS works great, seems responsive
Neat menu, with user friendly navigation.
Feels solid

High resolution graphics.

Cons:

No USB included with phone
No 3.5 jack

All in all, the Sony Ericsson TM506 is a great phone for a low cost device. I recommend it to everyone.

01234 Fantastic Phone!, Thursday, December 11, 2008 - 10:15

The Sony Ericsson TM506 is a wonderful phone. Its solid design fits into my pocket and purse well. Love the emerald highlights with a smooth shine. I love the fact that the outer screen displays the caller ID without having to open the phone. Very handy! The 2.0-megapixel camera works surprisingly great plus you can organize pictures with My Album, slide show and it has video blogging capability. I ave songs and share music by removable Memory Stick Micro (M2). The stereo Bluetooth connectivity is super neat - handsfree calls and music streaming! The 3G download fast. Internet browsing is easy and I can add rss feeds that I like. I also tested the integrated GPS with Telenav which provide splendid results. The best thing also is I can send pictures, videos, IM notes and email to my contacts straight from the home screen. I can also send and receive instant messages with AOL, Yahoo, Windows Live and Google Talk. I wish that the speakerphone could be a little louder.

Overall, the Sony Ericsson TM506 is a fantastic phone with 3G and GPS support. I would recommend this to everyone who needs a new phone!
